Substance Abuse Program Events

Dear Fifth Grade Students and Parents,

The Ramsey Police Department has transformed its D.A.R.E. program and is now in full swing for the 2014-2015. This year the Ramsey Police Department will be presenting its school based Substance Abuse Program. Students, like previous graduates, will learn the life skills needed to live a happy, healthy, and drug free lifestyle.

We would like to welcome you to what we know will be both an educational and fun experience for students as well as parents!! We encourage parents to take a proactive role by assisting with class assignments and volunteering at Substance Abuse Program events. Although school-based programs are important, they are only a part of the prevention package. The Substance Abuse Program is an opportunity for students, parents, educators and community leaders to come together and take a stand against drugs.

We look forward to having a great year!

X-cite Games

The Ramsey Substance Abuse Program is taking over Eric C. Smith School on February 28th 2015 at 7PM- 9:30PM.  We will be holding an event called X-cite Games. The gymnasium and cafeteria will be filled with large inflatables, various games and toilet racers. Toilet racers? Yes, you will have the opportunity to race around the school on a toilet. If you need a break from the fun, you can listen to our DJ as he plays music and enjoy a tasty snack.
